The One and Only

The Karczma Młyn Restaurant lies directly by Lake Górzno. It’s the only place around with a private beach and a smokehouse as well as the only facility in northern Poland with a working mill wheel and its own trout farm.

The history of our restaurant

The Karczma Młyn Restaurant is a visiting card of both Górzno and the whole Brodnica Lake District.

It’s located in an old, carefully reconstructed water mill dating back to 1766. The restaurant offers two rooms, and its windows overlook the lake and the surroundings

Działające Koło Młyńskie

Karczma Młyn posiada działające koło młyńskie. Pierwotny młyn wodny w Górznie został zbudowany w 1766 roku, usytuowany między dwoma jeziorami: Górznieńskim i mniejszym, około 2-hektarowym jeziorem Wapionka, położonym około 7 metrów wyżej. Taka lokalizacja umożliwiała efektywne wykorzystanie energii wodnej do napędu urządzeń młyńskich. Budynek ten pełnił funkcję młyna wodnego przez wiele lat, a jego historia sięga XVIII wieku. Konstrukcja była wykorzystywana do mielenia zboża.

Własna pstrągarnia

Przy Karczmie Młyn posiadamy własną pstrągarnię, w której z pasją hodujemy świeże, dorodne pstrągi. Dzięki temu mamy pełną kontrolę nad ich jakością, co sprawia, że nasze dania z pstrąga są zawsze świeże, aromatyczne i pełne smaku. To prawdziwa gratka dla miłośników ryb i regionalnej kuchni!

W karczmie przygotowujemy je na różne sposoby – pieczone, smażone, wędzone – tak, aby każdy mógł odnaleźć swoją ulubioną wersję. Dzięki własnej hodowli możemy zagwarantować najwyższą jakość i autentyczny smak. Zapraszamy do spróbowania pstrąga z naszej pstrągowni – świeżość, jakiej nie znajdziesz nigdzie indziej!

The Karczma Młyn Restaurant serves Polish cuisine, in particular trout from our very own trout farm. Although the dishes are served in quite unusual ways, they’re always prepared with fresh, natural products. The facility also offers a rich choice of beverages and alcohols, including wines from all over the world.

We’ve made sure our youngest guests feel special, which is why we’ve prepared a children’s menu filled with their favorite flavors.
