Górzno is the smallest city in Poland, although it is known as the capital of Polish triathlon and geocaching. Here, the Polish National Volleyball Championships take place. For inhabitants and tourists, there are bicycle lanes and tracks you may cover on foot e.g. with your Nordic walking poles. Although being quite small, Górzno is full of tourist attractions such as for example 19th-century wooden houses, a buried bishops’ palace and early Middle Ages settlement remains. The Holy Cross Church deserves our special attention. It was built by knights of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. The city is situated in a scenic area surrounded by forests abounding in mushrooms. Around the city, there are numerous ravines where you can find brooklets falling into wild lakes. It is appreciated that we can admire these marvellous wonders of nature.
